What is "Pay it Forward?"
Pay it forward, is an act of kindness. It is an expression widely used in current times, for when someone who has made an act of kindness, pays the gesture forward to someone else, rather than repaying those who showed kindness to them.
It's a difficult time of the year, children believe in the magic of Christmas, and some families dread the bill that comes along. And in these current times, more people than ever will find it difficult to get those sought after gifts.
Here at Antrim School of Music, our Ethos is to ensure that every child has the chance to learn music. We know the price tags can be out of reach, so we have launched our Pay it Forward - Musical Instrument Scheme to see how we can help address this.
We are reaching out to those who may have surplus musical instruments lying around that are no longer wanted and gather dust. This could be pianos, keyboards, drums, wind, brass, percussion, any instruments at all.
We also want to reach out to those who need these items but cannot afford the additional costs right now.
If you have anything you would like to donate, or, if you could avail of the scheme, please contact us on the link below and someone will be in touch to discuss how we can help.
It's times like these, we can pull together as a community and help those in need.
Thank you
