Our Directors

Hi, I'm Vicki! I'm the founder and Co-Director of Antrim School of Music.

I am a qualified piano and singing teacher, and have been teaching for almost 15 years. I obtained a Diploma in Music Teaching, and also a teaching Diploma in Early Childhood Music, both from the London College of Music (LCM). I'm an extremely hands on tutor, and continuous, personal development is at the heart and core of everything I do. I am now about to embark on a new journey, as I head back to "big school" this year, studying a Masters in Creative Musicianship at Ulster University. I am excited to learn about bringing more music into our community.

I love extra curricular activities that involve anything musical! I found myself regularly in the school orchestra, choir, school productions and many societies outside of school to ignite my musical skills. I am also the Musical Director for Antrim Kids Choir, a voluntary role which I absolutely love!

Music is my life! I eat, sleep and breathe all things music! My passion for music has been with me from a very young age. The dream has always been to teach Music, and include those who can't access it for whatever reason. And here we are; making those dreams become a reality! We are delighted to welcome you as you embark on your musical journey with us.

Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm the Co-Director of Antrim School of Music.

I'm a lover of all things music and a music tech nerd! I have been playing guitar, bass guitar and songwriting for over 20 years. I have achieved Grade 8 in Guitar, Bass guitar and a Diploma in Music Technology. I also sing and do photography!

I have over 10 years experience of designing, facilitating and managing creative projects primarily based around music, music production and songwriting. I have experience in live sound, recording, mixing and mastering music.

I am also an Arts Awards Adviser and Connected Kids Meditation teacher along with other qualifications, I love to keep learning! I have been teaching for 12 years and love to meet new students and watch them grow and achieve their ambitions as a player or a performer.

My ethos is to bring music and arts to people from all walks of life, regardless of their background or circumstances. Music and arts changed my life, and continues to do so, and I want to give others the opportunities to pursue their creative passions.
